Eating Gluten Free

According to the President of the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness, it can be twice as expensive to eat gluten-free. The number one stressor for newly diagnosed celiac patients is the high, and sometimes unaffordable, costs of gluten-free foods. As a gluten-free diet is the only treatment for celiac disease, the high prices of groceries can be cost prohibitive and many low-income families may not be able to afford even basic groceries. Cutting Costs for Celiacs is a non-profit organization aimed at helping families get the grocery help they need.
