Quarantine Aid

Hello Everyone! Across the country, families have been stuck at home as COVID-19 has been closing down schools, places of business, and places to socialize. During this time, Cutting Costs for Celiacs is helping families in need–who have children with celiac disease–by offering them gift cards to local grocery stores.

As local restaurants are also struggling to make ends meet, we also want to provide families take-out dinners at local gluten-free restaurants.

By doing that we can help families and small businesses at the same time! Learn more and apply below!

Application:

As gluten-free diets can be more expensive than regular diets, many low-income families may not be able to afford even basic groceries.

Due to the high prices of gluten free-foods, Cutting Costs for Celiacs provides children (and their families) with reliable stipends and educational opportunities. During the COVID-19 crisis, however, we are slightly adjusting our services to provide emergency grocery stipend to families struggling to afford groceries while in quarantine. Our services help those below or at the poverty level, those who have recently applied for unemployment benefits, or those who have been laid off as a result of the crisis.

Families can use these gift cards at local participating grocery stores to purchase certified gluten-free food. As local restaurants are also struggling to make ends meet, we also want to provide families take-out dinners at local gluten-free restaurants. By doing that we can help families and small businesses at the same time!
